"I love wood. As an architect I have always been involved in developing innovative and sustainable wooden, urban constructions. In my workshop I am at the other end of the scale, trying to exercise woodturning as a meditative practice where tactility, materiality, details and structure are core focus.
I am inspired by both Norwegian formal traditions and Japanese simplicity.»
